It’s been a while since I’ve written a blog. This is actually the first one for this year, but my perspective on some things have really shifted. One of the things I believe we must learn to do is branching out in silence. What do I mean by this? I mean that there will be times where you will have no one cheering you on. There will be times when you will have to motivate yourself to do what’s unfamiliar to you. Are you willing to branch out in spite of the silence? One thing I’ve learned is that many times those who support you won’t be who you think they are. You can write a status on Facebook and receive likes, but what happens when you decide to participate in making a God-given dream a reality? Don’t be frustrated, because it seems that some people will only support you if they are a part of what you’re doing. Don’t be frustrated because someone you thought would congratulate you doesn’t. It’s all good and I’ve been down that road before. But you have to focus on what really matters. So if you have to branch out in silence be willing to do so. Just make sure you are branching out and not remaining still and stagnated.
