Living For God Can Get Lonely

We all know that we need God. We all know that He loves us and He will never leave us nor forsake us. But if we would be truthful, this walk gets lonely. When you are striving to live for God, ppl leave you.  Yes, the Lord does say to come out from among them and be ye separate. But many times, it seems like you are the one that they are separating themselves from. Your phone doesn’t ring much. Even though many say that it’s during these times that the Lord wants your total attention so that He can speak to you. The waiting gets lonely. Sometimes reading your bible gets boring. Sometimes you wonder why you can’t be normal? Why did He choose this life for you? You even wonder what is it that He really wants? He wants a relationship with you. A real relationship, not a false pretense and a few hours during the week at church. He wants us to love Him with all our heart, with all our mind and with all our soul. We have to realize that God wants His purpose to be manifested in our lives. Before He placed us in our mother’s womb , He foreknew us all. He specifically handcrafted us , and equipped us and our personality to partake and overcome all the things we face. We need to change our perspective.  Many times we are self-centered, but when we are self-centered we can’t see God. We can’t see how dependent we are upon Him. We can’t even breathe without Him. But a lot of times we take Him for granted and we focus on our problems. Yes this walk can get lonely, but we are never alone. Not with Him. While we sit in the room, He is right there, attentively watching us and listening to us. He sees our tears, our insecurities, our fears, and uncertainties. But He also can take care of it all if we allow Him to.
